Sales?! What bloody sales?!!

Well, today I braved the sales in Sydney’s lovely Pitt St Mall (whilst out buying more DVDs, of course)!

And I must ask… is anything actually on “sale”, or are we consumers so gullible that we are buying things at the same prices as they were before Xmas, just because there are big red stickers all over them??

I did not see one item that was reduced to such a bargain that my mouth hit the floor.  Sure, maybe here and there an eyebrow was raised, potentially even two, but come on… where are all the old price slasher bargains from yesteryear?

With all the crowds and queues (I got so frustrated I felt like pushing a couple of children over – oh stop!  They were at least 15!), I was left with a stinging headache, and became more frustrated than Pammy gets when trying to breastfeed!

Anyway – I did buy a couple of goodies…

  • A lovely new nose hair trimmer
  • Some music books (for the piano)
  • And just a few DVDs
    • The Last Boy Scout (I love old Brucie Boy);
    • The Hills Have Eyes Unrated 2;
    • Black Sheep;
    • Eyes Wide Shut; and
    • Creep.

See – I was very well behaved.  I didn’t go crazy (not that there was much to go crazy about)!
